Plum Torte

Cream butter and sugar together. Add flour, baking powder, salt and eggs. Spoon mixture into a 9” spring form pan and press into mold. Place plums skin side up and sprinkle cinnamon and 1 tablespoon of sugar. Squeeze lemon juice on top.
Bake in a pre heated 350°F oven for 1 hour. When cool sprinkle with powdered sugar.


Plum Torte


- 6 plums cut in ½ or ¼’s
- 1 cup sugar
- ½ cup unsalted butter
- 1 cup flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- ½ of lemon, for juice
- pinch of salt
